Chico Boxing For Fitness (CBFF) is a member of USA Boxing and is dedicated to get you in the best condition of your life and to teach you the Ultimate Art of Boxing. The International and U.S. Olympic Boards have announced that boxers are the best conditioned athletes in the world. So we believe that when you train like a boxer you ll be in condition like a boxer. We have contact and non-contact ("neva get hit") programs. We are the only boxing gym in Chico also we are the only gym that has both Amateur and Professional boxers that compete. Presently we house The IFBA North American Bantam Weight Champion Ava Knight and Light Welter Weight Prospect Mario Hernandez. Both of these talented boxers are home made. We also have Moris Rodriguez and Claudia Gutierrez whom will become Professional boxers in 2009. Our coaching Staff consist of Josh Tyner and Pablo Quintana (both are boxers) Joe Rodriguez (51 years in boxing and founder of CBFF) also coaching is gym owner Lou Rodriguez whom was a standout H.S. wrestler and now a certified boxing coach by USA Boxing. CBFF is open 6 days a week: Mon-Thurs 12:00 to 9:00 PM, Fri 12:00 to 8:00 PM, Sat 12:30 to 5:00 PM. We have a class that starts at 4:15 PM Mon-Fri and another class at 6:30 PM Mon-Thurs. The classes last about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The classes are part of your membership and they are not mandatory, but we do need five people on time to start any one class. You can spend as much time in the gym as you like and you can work out by your self if you choose. If you never boxed before we will work one on one with you during the first month of your membership, After the first month you would have to pay separately for each session of this service. We have a FREE all women boxing class every Saturday and a Bring your buddy day every Wednesday. We also have a Free Weight Training Area. If additional information is needed please feel free to contact or visit us. MONDAY 12:00 Noon to 9:00 PM PRICING: DIRECTIONS: We have a 24' ring, 10 Heavybags, 8 speed bags, 2 double end bags.
