Hello, the new Jurupa Valley Boxing Club, a Three Million Dollar Project is a Beautiful complex. A special thanks to John Traviglione, Ann Stephens, President Armando Muniz, and the Board Member's behind it all! The facility is open to the public, mainly to our youth as an outlet to learn dicipline, self respect, self confidence and a good work out. I Herman Montes at the age of 11 years old went to a youth boxing gym in Montebello Ca. I was not coordinated as a boxer and my dad was trying to coach me. He had seen that I just did not have it and he said, "Son try football, baseball, or something else!" I said no and I trained and trained until I finally got it. Before you know it I was traveling to Hawaii to fight the Golden Gloves National's. If you want something, you must give it 150% and it will eventually come to you. Later I fought pro and became a world boxing contender. The youth boxing Gym was the best thing for me as a youth!
