MAX SCHMELING KNOCKS OUT JOE LOUIS

Joe Louis was counted out in the 12th round.
It was experience and stamina that carried the
fight for Max Schmeling. Hitler led the celebration
in Germany when Max Schmeling, the Hamburg
Howitzer, knocked out Joe Louis. Riots broke out
in the streets of Harlem.
