Robinson TKOs Olla in 3rd
In Third Fight of Comeback

_ MILWAUKEE, April 15 - Sugar
Ray Robinson showed he had some-
thing left with a savage third-round
beating of Ted Olla which earned the
former two-class champion a technical
knockout last night.

_ Olla was helpless against the ropes
and bleeding from the nose and
mouth when referee Dauber Jaeger
stopped the fight at 2:15 of the third
round.
_ There was not a fan among the
estimated crowd of 4,000 who failed
to agree with the referee's decision
to stop it. Even Olla's handlers
kept yelling "stop the fight," as
Robinson ripped right after right
to Ted's head. Olla, 164 pounds,
was down once for a four-count in
the final round.
_ Robinsonson, 163 pounds, thus
marked up his third and most im-
pressive victory in four fights since
he came out of retirement last
October.
_ Later, a jubilant Robinson said:
"I'm beginning to find myself,"
but the former champion put the
brakes on undo optimism.
_ "I'm not there yet," he said. "I'm
not at a point where I'd want to or
could fight Bob Olson for the
middleweight title, but wait until
September."
